The bit is good, but it would have been even better if the roller were a little larger. Size 12.5 is probably correct, but compared with other bits of the same size, it is slightly smaller. I would have preferred it to be 2–3 mm longer.– Linda
Description
Zandy Rubber Beval 95 mm (3¾") has a straight, flexible rubber mouthpiece and a Beval side piece with more than one rein position. The selected position changes the rein’s point of action and can add leverage.
The straight mouthpiece acts as one unit without a central joint. Rubber provides a softer, more flexible surface than metal and takes up comparatively more room in the mouth. Check the rubber regularly for tooth marks, cracks and sharp edges.
Use the mildest rein position that provides suitable communication. Size, fit and action must suit the individual horse. Stop using the bit and seek professional advice if discomfort, sores or damage occur.
