The bit is good, but it would have been even better if the roller were a little larger. Size 12.5 is probably correct, but compared with other bits of the same size, it is slightly smaller. I would have preferred it to be 2–3 mm longer.– Linda

The rings move freely through the mouthpiece. Encourages the horse to chew and salivate. The horse can't lean on the bit as easily. The most common bit type. Can pinch the corners if the bit is too wide. Two hinge points with a centre link distributing pressure more evenly. Doesn't reach the palate. Milder than single jointed, independent action on each side. Suits horses with a low palate, thick tongue or sensitive mouth. The most common choice for a gentle bit. Extremely light and strong. Hypoallergenic and taste-neutral. Completely corrosion-resistant. Suits horses with nickel allergy or that prefer a light bit.Information
