The bit is good, but it would have been even better if the roller were a little larger. Size 12.5 is probably correct, but compared with other bits of the same size, it is slightly smaller. I would have preferred it to be 2–3 mm longer.– Linda

Size: 135 mm (5¼")
The rings move freely through the mouthpiece. Encourages the horse to chew and salivate. The horse can't lean on the bit as easily. The most common bit type. Can pinch the corners if the bit is too wide. Hinge point in the middle distributing pressure on lips, bars and tongue sides. Classic basic bit with a clear signal. Rises in the middle under pressure and can reach the palate. For a low palate, double jointed or straight may work better. Produces a sweet taste that encourages chewing and salivation. The surface turns blue-black over time, that's normal. Wipe after use, store dry.Information
