The bit is good, but it would have been even better if the roller were a little larger. Size 12.5 is probably correct, but compared with other bits of the same size, it is slightly smaller. I would have preferred it to be 2–3 mm longer.– Linda

Fixed, oval joints between rings and mouthpiece. No risk of pinching the lips. Sits quietly without rotating. Even and predictable contact. Popular for sensitive horses that prefer calm in the mouth. Hinge point in the middle distributing pressure on lips, bars and tongue sides. Classic basic bit with a clear signal. Rises in the middle under pressure and can reach the palate. For a low palate, double jointed or straight may work better. Soft and flexible, one of the mildest options. Cushions pressure. Takes up more space in the mouth.Information
