The bit is good, but it would have been even better if the roller were a little larger. Size 12.5 is probably correct, but compared with other bits of the same size, it is slightly smaller. I would have preferred it to be 2–3 mm longer.– Linda

Size: 125 mm (5")
Fixed, oval joins between ring and mouthpiece. No risk of pinching the lips. Sits still in the mouth without rotating. Even and predictable contact. Popular for sensitive horses that prefer a quiet feel in the mouth.
Two joints with a centre link that distributes pressure more evenly. Does not reach the palate. Milder than a single-jointed bit, with independent action on each side. Suits horses with a low palate, a thick tongue or a sensitive mouth. The most common choice for a gentle bit.
