The bit is good but would have been even better if the rod was a little bigger. Size 12.5 is probably right but compared to other bits of the same size it is a bit smaller. I would have liked it to be 2-3mm longer.– Linda
Description
Fixed, oval transitions between ring and mouthpiece keep the bit lying stable in the mouth without rotating. The fixed side piece gives an even, predictable contact and reduces the risk of the lips being pinched. Suits horses that prefer a calm and stable bit.
Two joints with a center link distribute the pressure evenly across the tongue and give a more responsive action on each side. The mouthpiece does not reach the palate and often suits horses with a low palate, thick tongue or sensitive mouth.
The sweet iron gives a taste that encourages the horse to chew and salivate. The surface darkens naturally over time. Wipe the bit off after use and store it dry.
