The bit is good but would have been even better if the rod was a little bigger. Size 12.5 is probably right but compared to other bits of the same size it is a bit smaller. I would have liked it to be 2-3mm longer.– Linda
Description
Long arms above and below that give clear lateral guidance. Can't pull through the mouth. The upper arm attaches to the bridle for extra stability. Works well for young horses and horses that need clear lateral steering.
Hinge point in the middle distributing pressure on lips, bars and tongue sides. Classic basic bit with a clear signal. Rises in the middle under pressure and can reach the palate. For a low palate, double jointed or straight may work better.
Durable, hygienic, taste-neutral. Works for all horses.
